INDUSTRIAL CONNECTORS

Our High Power Battery, High Temp Burn-In-Board, and Y-Flex connectors showcase the performance and quality which differentiates Yamaichi Electronics within the industrial/medical connector industry.

The High Temp Burn-In-Board connector, from our CN136 Series, is designed to operate under extreme environments with an operating temp of up to 180℃. This high pin count (432 pins = 200 signal + 200 GND + 32 POW pins) connector is rated at 1A per pin. The mating indentations provide a secure connection while making it easy to operate.

Similar to the High Temp Burn-In-Board connector, the High-Power Battery connectors are also designed for extreme environments. This connector comes from our EV Battery Series which can withstand high current applications of up to 65A. The design contains custom guiding pins and a docking interface with a “floating” structure to accommodate mating tolerance of ±1.5mm in the X & Y direction and ±1mm in the Z direction. With durability to mate up to 4,000 times, it is the perfect solution for electrical motorcycle and electric bike charging applications.

In addition to our harsh environment products, Yamaichi also offers flexibility with the High-Speed Y-Flex Cable Assemblies from our HF507, HF509, HF512, HF513, and HF601 Series. These products comply with PCIe Gen4.0/future 5.0 Spec and supports transmission speeds of +20Gbps. By using LCP materials in between our Y-Flex cables, Yamaichi can provide positioning impedance control under high frequency signals over the traditional FFC/FPC counterpart. Furthermore, Y-Flex employs the unique BUMP technology to better connect each layer over the conventional method. This technology allows Y-Flex to endure bending the cable while maintaining a stable high-speed transmission. Customization of product shape/length and impedance control is also possible upon request.

The Y-Circ and Y-Con Series offer cost-effective industrial grade solutions for harsh environments. Y-Circ P has a unique push-pull circular connector that is shorter, lighter, and provides advantages in strong vibrations applications. Y-Con is a flexible modular system with proven IP67/68/69K and IP20 solutions.
